Abstract:  Point feature GIS data layer of selected food stores such as grocery stores and supermarkets in Wyandotte County, KS. Stores included are regular grocery stores as well as hypermarkets such as SuperWalMart. Convenience stores and specialty markets (e.g. corner grocery stores and ethnic markets) are not included. Attribution has been added to each store point feature with name, address, contact phone number and other useful information. Distributed in ESRI shapefile format in Kansas North State Plane Coordinate System, NAD83, units feet.

Purpose: Serves as a supplemental cultural GIS reference layer in the UG Enterprise GIS for mapping and visual display. Suitable for map scale of 1:1200 or smaller.
