<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Attendance boundaries of all public elementary schools in Wyandotte County, KS, furnished as a polygon feature GIS dataset in Esri shapefile (.shp) format, in Kansas North State Plane coordinates, NAD83 datum, and units are in feet.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>These polygons delineate student attendance areas for each public elementary school. Encoded with each elementary school attendance polygon is attribution of respective middle school and high school assignments for that attendance area. </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Private schools </SPAN><SPAN>are not included.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This dataset is the </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;">foundation dataset </SPAN><SPAN>for companion attendance area datasets for middle schools and high schools in Wyandotte County.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Boundary information was obtained by GSS from each respective school district and compiled into this countywide dataset. Boundaries have been reviewed by most school districts and are considered authoritative, but not to a legal or survey standard.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Attribution includes USD number, elementary school name, middle school name, and high school name. No other school- or district-related tabular information is included. An additional attribute for County is included because Bonner Springs District (USD204) is in both Wyandotte and Leavenworth counties.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
