Service Description: This content is current. Do not delete or deprecate. Striping and Marking data was gathered by IMS in 2018. It contains all pavement stripings and markings with specific, accessibly symbology. It is currently maintained by the Asset Management department as per as-builts provided by Public Works engineers and aerials provided by the GSS department. The attributes for the data include things like color, text, position, alignment, condition, who owns it, who maintains it, and more. The spatial resolution is NAD 1983 StatePlane Kansas North FIPS 1501, and all polylines are measured in US Survey Feet. It is used by the Streets division to place work orders, quantify materials used, and other metrics. If there are any questions or concerns regarding this data, please address them to the Asset Management dpt within Public Works.
