Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><P><SPAN>Board of Public Utilities (BPU)Board Member Districts in Wyandotte County, KS, as a polygon feature shapefile in KS North State Plane coordinates, NAD83 Datum, units feet. These are districts for BPU's Board of Directors, which is composed of six members, three of whom are elected at-large, and three of whom are elected by districts delineated in this dataset. Every two years, three members are elected for four-year terms. The BPU is a public utility owned by the Unified Government of Kansas City, KS/Wyandotte County, KS. The utility provides electric transmission and distribution services to 65,000 customers and water distribution services to 51,000 customers in the Kansas City metropolitan area. This is an election district dataset, not a service district layer. Names of incumbent board members are included as attribution. Districts became effective 2011.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV>
